I wrote a book, but I never promote it!

So good at self-promotion that I rarely share anything about my book, even though I'm super proud of it!

A bit of a different post today, but some of you may already know that last year I wrote a recipe book, and although I’m super proud of it, I realised that I don’t ever really talk about it because I just feel super awkward doing any kind of promotion!


I’ve had a little flurry of book orders recently, which I’m incredibly grateful for, so I really wanted to show you a little bit more about what’s in the book.


So this recipe book has all my favourite and best selling cake recipes in it from my ten plus years of professional vegan baking.  My cake slices have been my most popular thing in recent years, so the book is based around baking your own small batch cake slices at home.  However, because I’m all about simple, fuss free baking, the exact same recipes will make a dozen cupcakes, a small batch of cake slices or a sheet cake, so they’re really versatile depending on what you want to make.


Theres a little section about freezing cakes, lining a cake tin, oven temperatures and which vegan ingredients I recommend.  And then, there’s loads of different cake recipes.


One of the best parts is that all the sponges, fillings and buttercreams can be mixed and matched, so you don’t have to stick to the cake combinations I’ve made, you can get creative and bake whatever flavour cake you fancy!  There’s a little bit about basic buttercream piping and a bonus edible cookie dough recipe at the end.


Anyway that’s my book!  It’s fuss free and designed for anyone who wants to make vegan cakes at home.  You don’t need to have any experience or tonnes of baking equipment.  It’s just about having fun and making delicious vegan cakes!”
