Easy Chocolate Tiffin Recipe

This quick, five ingredient recipe makes a deliciously rich and easy no bake chocolate tiffin!




This recipe couldn't be any easier! Simply melt your ingredients together, stir in your crushed biscuits and mix ins of your choice, then let your tiffin set in the fridge. In no time at all you'll be snacking on this yummy chocolatey treat! This recipe is super versatile. You can use any kind of biscuits and mix ins that you fancy. I used vegan gummy bear sweets, but any sweets, chocolatey treats or fruit pieces would also taste delicious!





This recipe makes one 2lb loaf tin which I sliced into 8-10 pieces. The tiffin is best stored in an airtight container in a cold and dry place and eaten within a week.


This recipe is dairy free, egg free, completely plant based and it has an easy gluten free option!




Makes one 2lb loaf tin

 

Tiffin ingredients;

250g dark or 'milk' chocolate

45g vegan butter

45g golden syrup

1 packet crushed biscuits (around 150g)

1 packet of vegan gummy sweets


 

You will also need; a microwavable mixing bowl, spoon, 2lb loaf tin or similar sized tin, baking paper,


How to make your tiffin;

  1. Line your loaf tin with baking paper. This will make it much easier to remove the set tiffin from the tin

  2. Add the chocolate, vegan butter and golden syrup to your mixing bowl and heat in short bursts, stirring in between, until everything is melted together

  3. Roughly crush your biscuits with your fingers and add them to the melted mixture

  4. Add any extra sweets or mix ins (save a handful for decoration on top), then mix everything together until it is all covered in the chocolatey mixture

  5. Pour the mixture into the lined baking tin and gently smooth out

  6. Add any extra sweets or decorations to the top of your tiffin

  7. Pop the tin the in the fridge or freezer for an hour or so until it is set completely firm

  8. Remove the tiffin from the tin and slice into servings

  9. Now it's ready to eat!
