Plum & Apricot Pastries Recipe

Make these yummy pastries with only three ingredients and in under half an hour!

Makes 12 pastries

 

Ingredients;

1x roll of ready made puff pastry

6x plums

1x jar of apricot jam

 

You will also need; a baking tray, baking paper, knife, spoon, small circle cookie cutter


Method;

1.       Preheat your oven to 180°c

2.       Cover your baking tray in baking paper to stop the pastries from sticking

3.       Unroll your pastry and cut into 12 even squares

4.       Use your cookie cutter to make an indent in the middle of each square.  Don’t cut all the way through the pastry

5.       Roughly spread out a spoonful of apricot jam in the circle on the pastry

6.       Thinly slice your plums and spread out the slices evenly on top of the apricot jam.  I used half a plum for each pastry

7.       Bake for around 15-20 minutes until golden

8.       Optional, dust with icing sugar to make them look extra fancy!

9.       Eat and enjoy!
